“Caur ērkšķiem uz…” show to feature former inmates and individuals struggling with addiction. Sejas.lv reports that the new season of the “Caur ērkšķiem uz…” show will soon premiere. The show will introduce viewers to several participants.

One participant is a former prisoner who battled addiction from the age of 12. Another is a young woman for whom schizophrenia was falsely diagnosed. A mother of three admits to a reliance on alcohol during her evenings.

A woman who has spent her entire conscious life in prison will also participate. These individuals are prepared to undergo significant changes in their lives. The participants’ journeys will begin with a period of residence at the Olaine Prison’s Addiction Center, where they will explore the harsh realities of addiction.

Following this, they will reside at the Bruknu commune, led by priest Andrejs Mednis, where many individuals with addiction histories have sought to find the true meaning of life. After facing various challenges, the participants will stay at a nature-based guesthouse in Livani and ultimately at a luxurious manor in Sigulda, where they will collaborate with experts to develop and implement future plans.
