Young people from Tampere and Tartu will collaborate on the artwork beneath the Friendship Bridge, celebrating the friendship between Finland and Estonia. The painting, by artist Seifo, will be located on the Karlova side of the bridge. The project was initiated by Finns, and Tartu residents have been invited to participate, including a journalist, Raimu Hanson. The artwork is intended to serve as a new landmark representing Finnish-Estonian relations in Tartu and is intended to foster friendship between the two cities.
