An investigation at the Abja-Paluoja gas station revealed discrepancies in fuel dispensing, with a customer receiving less fuel than paid for. During a transaction, the automatic pump dispensed 5.41 liters of fuel for 10 euros; however, the purchased canister did not confirm a five-liter fill. A second transaction involved 7.49 euros, and the customer reported the canister display indicated a 10-euro purchase.

A photograph of the situation was taken by Elmo Riig and is in his private collection. The findings suggest the canister is not a reliable measuring device, and its markings cannot be fully trusted. The reason for the discrepancies remains unexplained.

The incident involved fuel and euros.
