Estonia plans to launch a trial use of its vaccination certificate at the end of April. The certificate process involves accessing Digilugu to obtain an individual QR code, which can be saved on a mobile device or printed. According to reports from rus.err.ee via “Aktualna Kamera,” the certificate will only contain information related to European Union-approved vaccines administered by Estonian doctors.

Specifically, data regarding vaccines such as “Sputnik” will not be included, as it is not currently approved for sale or use within the European community. Border guards will only view the individual’s ID document number and vaccination details. Discussions regarding the acceptance of the certificate for third-country citizens are not yet underway.

The Estonian vaccination certificate is ready.
