The sick leave started in February

In February, nearly 17,000 people took sick leave, a figure significantly higher than the 14,000 recorded in February of the previous year. The temporary order requiring compensation payments to be issued from the second day of a sick leave is expected to remain in effect until the end of the year, according to ERR radio news. January saw 39,000 sick leaves taken, while February recorded 42,000.
