The Eesti Energia board approved a new management board composition on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Kelly Tooss-Kahsik will lead the management board, effective April 1st, with Marlen Tamm appointed as financial director and Kriis Kuhi as head of the energy solutions development group. Raine Pajio will be responsible for strategic development projects and scientific activity, while Andrus Douryko will serve as executive director. “The goal of Eesti Energia to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045 means that new green production facilities will need to be built, comprehensive energy solutions will need to be offered to customers, the share of digitalization will need to be increased, and new technologies will need to be introduced,” stated Andrus Douryko, chairman of the board. The board’s decision reflects a desire to bring a fresh perspective to the management of Eesti Energia, aiming to achieve ambitious goals while maintaining core competencies. Douryko’s team is considered well-balanced and motivated, possessing the necessary skills to guide the company toward a carbon-neutral energy future.
