The bridge in Oru Park is nearing completion, with an anticipated readiness by the end of October 2022. Construction, overseen by RMK’s North-Estonian recreation zone manager Hejnar Juuse, is progressing steadily. Concrete work and facade construction are ongoing, with visible progress already apparent.

Weather conditions have remained favorable, and the builder, Leonhard Weiss, has encountered no significant issues. The project, initiated following the collapse of a supporting beam in March 2020 – a structure connecting the port and beach area to the castle platform – was delayed initially due to a temporary restriction on water usage implemented within the permit to protect aquatic life. The new bridge incorporates measures to strengthen the bank, mitigating potential erosion.

The bridge is located in Oru, a town in the northern part of Estonia, known for its beaches.
