Rubo Kikerpill, a long-serving judge of Pärnu County, retired last Wednesday. His last day in the role coincided with the start of the new school year. Kikerpill has served as a judge in Pärnu County for nearly 30 years, and for 25 of those years, he held the position of chairman of the Pärnu County Court. He will turn 68 on May 13 of next year, exceeding the legal retirement age, and consequently decided to begin his retirement this year.
