A sudden storm is likely to hit Estonia on Saturday night, according to synoptist Kairo Kiitsak. Current model calculations indicate a small but strong cyclone will rapidly move across the northern Baltic Sea and along the eastern coast of Finland, with Estonia situated in its immediate south. The storm is expected to particularly affect the islands, where winds will shift to the west and intensify significantly, creating a risk of strong gusts.

Strong south-westerly and westerly winds are also anticipated to strengthen across inland areas of the mainland, with gusts potentially reaching up to 20 meters per second.
