Põhjarannik will host a display of underwater forest at the Aidu coal mine this Saturday. Metsainimesed (Forest People) are inviting people to connect with nature for the annual Forest People’s Day. Visitors do not need to travel to Norway to see fjords – a trip to the Ida-Virumaa region of Estonia is sufficient. The Aidu coal mine has created unique, long and narrow formations with high cliffs and light blue water. The event will be held at the Aidu mine, located in Ida-Virumaa, near Peipsi Lake. The area is also known as Aidu Tannenberg and Alar’s Heart. Gunnar Lepasaar is involved in the event. The keywords associated with this event are Norra, Ida, and Aidu.
