Sakala Center hosts a series of exhibitions and film screenings throughout September. The Sakala center will screen “Ticket to Paradise” on Tuesday, September 13th, at 11:45 and 19:00. Other films scheduled for screenings at the center include “Apteeker Melchior. Viirastus” at 12:10 and 18:15, “Where the endless songs of the fall” at 13:50, “Satire of fate in American style” at 14:50, “Handymen 2” at 16:10, and “After. Long and happy” at 16:10. Additionally, the Viljandi art school will host its annual exhibition, “Bones of the animal,” at the Sakala center until September 17th. The City gallery will feature a fifth-anniversary exhibition of the Krõllipesa nursery student, running until September 14th. The Kondase center will display the work of Lithuanian artist Daukantė Subačiūtė, including “liar, liar,” and the drawings of Latvian artist Edmunds Jaudzems, “Pantaloons and other companions,” until September 18th. The permanent exhibition of the artwork of teacher Paul Kondase from the Viljandi museum collection will remain open until September 24th. Sculptures by Edith Karlson will be exhibited at the Viljandi museum until September 24th. The cultural academy will present a study program exhibition, “Pärand haagib,” showcasing the work of national textile and metalwork specialty students, until September 17th. “The memorial mirrors,” a personal exhibition by Daniil Bessedini, and “Moskvising,” a photographic exhibition of Võromaa smoke saunas, will be displayed at Pärnu street 39.
