Estonia’s rescue capacity will be limited in the event of a major disaster, according to Minister of the Interior Lauri Läänemets. During a visit to Võru rescue depots on Friday, Läänemets stated that training people for crises is essential. He explained that the rescue capacity within Estonia would only be adequate to assist the most vulnerable individuals in the aftermath of a significant disaster, necessitating the ability of other people to cope independently.
