The renovation of public housing at the Viljandi stadium has revealed construction defects that will necessitate additional expenses. The company undertaking the project, responsible for transforming the stadium’s public housing into more energy-efficient buildings, discovered that the builder of a 2010 structure made errors regarding the foundation. Specifically, one partition of the building was found to be standing on uneven and unsealed ground, a condition that cannot be corrected without halting the work.

The city estimates the additional costs to be approximately 37,000 euros. The discovery was made by the stadium builder during the renovation process.
