Ulrich Seidli’s latest film, “Sparta,” will be shown on March 27 at the Centrum cinema in Viljandi. The film will be presented in Romanian and German with Estonian and Russian subtitles. “Sparta” is the second installment of Seidli’s trilogy exploring themes of existence, love, and the enduring influence of the past. It follows “Rimini,” which was screened at this year’s Berlinale competition and garnered positive reviews at the Palić Film Festival. The screening at the Centrum on March 27 at 13:00 will feature a scene from the film alongside the Saarepeedi folk theatre play “Seven from the Seven Seas and Beyond,” suitable for younger primary school children.
