Saturday’s Järva Teataja reports on several developments within Järva County. Heating costs have decreased significantly following a period of substantial increases last year, though prices vary considerably across the region. In Oisu, the cost to heat a room is twice that of Koerus, where the megawatt-hour currently costs 57.84 euros – representing the lowest price in the county.

The newly constructed command center for the Türi firefighters is a modern facility, described as red and black in color and incorporating wooden pallets, wood, metal, and contemporary equipment. The space is noted for its spaciousness. The taxi market in Paide and Järva County has seen a new entrant.

Valdur Pals, who has operated as a taxi driver in the region for nearly 40 years, began service approximately one month ago. Despite operating alongside three other taxi companies, Pals stated he does not anticipate significant competition. Marta Pagar & Köögi, a food processing company based in Paide, showcased their latest products at the capital’s vegan fair this weekend.

The company reported positive feedback on their offerings, including cheese-flavored meatballs, potato meatballs with corn and peas, and chocolate-flavored hummus, and plans to make them available on store shelves. Sales manager Janne Tammsaar indicated the company’s annual attendance at the vegan fair is a key opportunity to introduce new products to customers.
