HC Everest, a women’s ice hockey team based in Ida-Viru County, Estonia, has secured the Estonian championship for the third consecutive year in the women’s ice hockey league. The team’s victory grants them the right to participate in continental cup competitions. Currently, the team consists of Anna Dubkova, Aleksandra-Olga Seppar, Marina Kovaljova, Anna Fedjajeva, Margarita Šerle, Nadezhda Rak, and Maria Disko, often referred to as “the first wave.” The rise in popularity of women’s hockey is attracting increasing numbers of female athletes seeking to compete in the sport.

HC Everest represents the sole women’s hockey team within Ida-Viru County.
