A naturalist photographer, Sergei Listovil, recently observed uncommon wildlife near Jõhvi, approximately 500 meters from the city. Listovil encountered a female deer and a male deer. The man reported that the animals displayed curiosity, allowing him to observe them for up to 10 minutes. He noted that it was unusual for deer to remain so calmly, as they typically flee upon encountering a person. The mother deer initially exhibited tension but subsequently relaxed, and the pair proceeded into the forest while reaching for branches, indicating a state of calmness.
