Elisabeth Ebras secured a strong performance during the Vuelta cycle race in Spain. On the fifth stage, a 119-kilometer stage of the women’s Vuelta, Elisabeth Ebras finished in 17th place. The stage concluded with a significant crash occurring approximately two kilometers from the finish line, from which Ebras was able to escape unharmed. The stage victory was achieved by Dutch cyclist Mischa Bredewold of Team SD Worx – Protime, who was supported by teammates Lotte Kopecky and Letizia Paternoster of Liv AlUla Jayco. Following the race, Ebras stated that the day had been quite challenging. She noted that she could feel that her general training base was not currently at its optimal level. In the overall standings for the Vuelta, the German cyclist Fran Kopecky is positioned ahead of Ebras.
