Tartu, Estonia – Multiple educational institutions in Estonia received bomb threats over the past two nights, October 11th and 12th, 2023. On Thursday, students at Tartu Vocational College VOCO were dismissed due to reported threats. Hundreds of schools and other institutions received similar alerts, which police categorized as spam. Later on Thursday, screenshots purporting to show continued spam threats for Friday were circulated. Authorities investigated the situation and determined the alerts were largely spam.
