Warm weather is forecast to arrive in Estonia towards the end of the month. Following a period of warmer air that moved through during the first days of May, a cooler evening mass is expected to reach the area within two days. Over the Gulf of Finland, a high-pressure area will strengthen and move eastward, positioning itself near Estonia. In this region, temperatures are expected to reach up to 10 degrees Celsius on May 1. Under clear skies, minimum temperatures are predicted to drop near 0 degrees Celsius, while daytime maximums will rise to 15 degrees Celsius. Between May 9th and 10th, the temperature gradient is anticipated to be higher, reaching one to three degrees Celsius. Cloud cover is expected to be more prevalent in South Estonia, where the influence of a southerly low-pressure area may bring rain. These weather patterns suggest a transition period for the region. The arrival of warmer air earlier in the month has given way to a more dynamic system, though warmer conditions are anticipated towards the month’s end. The current forecast indicates fluctuating temperatures and varying weather conditions across different parts of Estonia as the month progresses.
