The upcoming Narcissus Day promises an attraction for visitors to Udeva Manor in Järvamaa. The event draws people to the manor grounds, which have seen the planting of nearly 10,000 narcissus bulbs over the past three years. In addition to enjoying the blooming flowers, visitors can take walks through the manor park and view the manor wall, a feature that has not been visible for approximately ten years. Kaarel and Maris Kutti, who are involved in the restoration of Udeva Manor, began seeking ideas shortly after the manor’s reopening to revitalize the park with minimal effort. Kaarel Kutti explained that the park itself provided inspiration. “The park gave us a clue—if the wall was visible over the head and people couldn’t move through it, then the narcissuses were growing there every spring. From there, we got the hint that they grow well at Udeva.” He added that the experience at Kirna Manor further reinforced the idea that flowers are highly attractive to people. The efforts have successfully transformed the landscape, resulting in a vibrant display. The sheer number of bulbs planted means that thousands of blooms now decorate the area. The natural beauty and the impressive floral displays make the location highly appealing, drawing visitors with its revitalized atmosphere. The confluence of historical restoration and seasonal natural beauty ensures that the manor remains a notable cultural destination.
