Tartu Kesklinna school is considering a change to its school lunch program. Starting next year, parents of students in grades 1 through 4 may be required to pay 70 cents per day for school lunches. Currently, the cost for all students is 35 cents per day.

The change is being considered as part of the school’s ongoing efforts to manage its budget. School officials stated that the decision will be made following a review of the program’s financial needs. Parents will be notified of the new pricing structure prior to the start of the school year.
