Motonet, a popular Estonian store, has requested customers to return a specific badminton set due to potential health risks. The recall involves the Donnay four-player badminton set (product number: 80-00788, part number/code: 2086100, EAN: 8711252414003) which was sold in Motonet stores from April 26 to July 26. The recall is prompted by the presence of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in some carry bags and blue badminton rackets within the set, exceeding EU REACH standards.

DEHP is classified as toxic to reproductive function. Motonet is offering a full refund to customers who purchased the set. Customers can return the product to any Motonet store or contact customer support at motonet.tallinn@motonet.ee or +372 5368 2250 for questions.

Broman Logistics, the product importer, has issued an apology for the product not meeting safety requirements and the resulting inconvenience. The keywords are EU badminton, Motonet, store.
