A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 struck Pakistan and Afghanistan yesterday, resulting in at least 11 fatalities. Nine individuals died in Pakistan and two in Afghanistan, according to officials. Approximately 200 people were transported to hospitals in the Swat Valley, located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of northwest Pakistan, as reported by provincial emergency officer Bilal Faizi to the Associated Press.
