At approximately 17:06, emergency services received a report of a vehicle crash and resulting fire on a road in the village of Pild, Mulgi district. The driver exited the car prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. However, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. According to the Lüneburg rescue center’s press service, firefighters extinguished the fire in the car’s engine. A dog that was inside the vehicle was taken to a shelter.
