♪ Listen 0:00 The PRIA (State Rural Development Fund) is accepting applications for investment support to diversify economic activity in rural areas. Applications are being accepted until September 21st, 2022, through e-PRAI. The purpose of the funding is to create conditions for the emergence of new jobs outside the agricultural sector through business diversification and development. Eligible applicants include micro-entrepreneurs and farmers, micro-enterprises engaged in non-agricultural activities, and public sector agricultural enterprises, as well as agricultural museums meeting the funding criteria. Funding can be used for building or improving structures, purchasing and installing machinery and equipment, and acquiring or furnishing trading posts. The support also extends to investments within the sectors of water supply, sewerage, waste and pollution management, construction, transportation and warehousing, advertising and market research, and administrative and support services. The maximum support amount for a single applicant is €150,000 over the development program period, with a maximum of 40% for non-agricultural micro-enterprises and 50% for agricultural producers, based on the eligible cost of the activity. The PRIA will evaluate applications based on criteria outlined in the measure’s regulation and will establish rankings for funding allocation. Decisions will be made by December 29th, 2022.
