Record-Breaking Auction Concludes at Tartu Art House

A successful auction took place at the Tartu Art House, drawing a significant audience and establishing a new record for the event. The auction, organized in cooperation between the Tartu artists’ union and Art & Tonic gallery, featured a collection of 50 works created by 50 diverse artists. The event unfolded within the gallery’s monumental space, where all 50 pieces were displayed for viewing.

Reigo Kuivjõgi managed the auction proceedings throughout the proceedings. The auction lasted for three hours and 15 minutes, during which time the ownership of each artwork was determined. The sale represents a notable achievement for the annual Tartu art auction, highlighting the continued interest and investment in local artistic talent.
