Kyiv Maintains Heating Supply Despite Ongoing Attacks, Officials Report

Kyiv successfully maintained heating services throughout the 2025/2026 heating season, despite persistent attacks by the enemy, according to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksi Kuleba and the Minister of Communities and Territorial Development. The announcement, made on Thursday following a meeting of the heating season preparation and implementation staff, highlighted significant progress in restoring and maintaining heating infrastructure across the capital. According to Ukrinform, the minister reported that 98.9% of residential buildings and 99.9% of social facilities were connected to the heating network during the season.

This achievement underscores the resilience of Ukraine’s recovery efforts and the commitment to providing essential services to its citizens amidst ongoing conflict. “This demonstrates our continued ability to deliver critical infrastructure, even under challenging circumstances,” stated Oleksi Kuleba.
