Estonian Skiers Compete in Lake Placid World Cup Sprint

Three Estonian skiers participated in the 10 km individual sprint event during the World Cup of Skiing held in Lake Placid, USA, today. The competition saw the athletes vying for positions within the top 30. Kaidy Kaasik achieved 21st place in the women’s 10 km competition.

She completed the course in 29 minutes and 8.8 seconds, finishing approximately 2.16 seconds behind the race winner. The winning time was recorded at 29 minutes and 5.96 seconds. Another Estonian skier, identified as Keidy Kaasik, finished in 29th place with a time of 29 minutes and 38.9 seconds, marking a +2.39.9 deficit to the race leader.
