On September 7, 2022, at 2:47 p.m., journalist Erik Kalda damaged the fuel tank of a bus in Narva, Estonia. The incident occurred on Keres Street following a fuel leak. Rescue workers responded to the scene and determined the damage was caused by a broken sewer manhole.

The manhole, previously reported as damaged within the city, had a broken cover. Rescue personnel covered the fuel leak with absorbent materials and subsequently cleared the road.
