Man Drowns During Fishing Trip in Viimsi, Estonia A man from Pärnamäe village, Viimsi, Estonia, drowned after an afternoon fishing trip on the Pärnamäe reservoir. The incident was reported to emergency services this evening, March 15, 2026, at 21:18. Initial reports indicated the man had gone fishing for bait in the Viimsi area. Following his disappearance, family members initiated a search, contacting authorities and attempting to reach him by phone and voice. Rescue services deployed resources, including a drone, to assist in the search. The drone was utilized to scan the area, and subsequently, the man was located submerged in the water on the ice of the reservoir. Emergency responders successfully removed the man from the water.
