Tehnoloogiainvestor Jaan Tallinn believes the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market will not manifest as a sudden surge in unemployment, but rather a gradual and less pronounced shift occurring within the next few years. He stated this during a discussion with fellow investor Taavet Hinrikus at the Eesti Tööandjate Keskliidu’s “Tuulelohe lend 2026” conference. Jaan Tallinn anticipates these changes will not be felt for decades, but will begin to take shape in the coming years.

Tallinn and investment firm Skaala, alongside risk capital fund Plural, were present to discuss the future of the Estonian labor market.
