The Premiumi liiga season began for Tartu JK Tammeka with a home match at Coopi Stadion against Nõmme Kalju. The latter proved to be the more competitive team, though only a penalty resulted in a goal, which was sufficient for the victory. Tammeka hosted the match with an attendance of approximately one thousand spectators, and Nõmme Kalju emerged as the victor.
