Raio Piiroja secured first place in the Haanja Classic Marathon on Saturday, with the race course passing twice along the route adjacent to the terrace of the Suure Muna café. Piiroja, a former captain of the Estonian national football team, stated that the final kilometer of the approximately 42-kilometer haanja event was the most challenging. The marathon was completed by numerous participants, including many last-minute entrants.
