The Tallinn City Council is organizing a commemoration event for the 1944 March bombings. The event, which will take place on March 9th, begins with a memorial service at the Siselinna Cemetery and concludes with a bonfire on Harju Street. The commemoration is intended to remember the events of 1944, when bombings originating from the east caused damage in areas such as Vana-Sepa and Suur-Karja in Tallinn.

Eesley Apostlik Õigeusu kiriku ülempreester Aleksander Sarapik will lead the memorial service, which will begin at noon at the burial site within the Siselinna Cemetery.
