The solution is to offer equal opportunities, not outcomes – but also equal responsibilities. One of the few remaining vestiges of Soviet commemorative days – International Women’s Day – has taken on a slightly different meaning for us, differing from the time when men attempted to become sober and appear at the door with flowers and cake. In one day, women are recognized, thanked, and reminded of their roles as mothers, colleagues, and partners. This is a pleasant custom. Nemvalts’ opinion focuses on women.
