Estonian skiers finished significantly behind the leading competitors at the Lahti World Cup stage today in classic skiing. The event concluded with a 10km individual race. Swedish skiers secured the top two positions.

Frida Karlsson won with a time of 25:57.6, followed by Linn Svahn, who was 4.1 seconds behind. Jessie Diggins of the United States finished third, 6.2 seconds behind Karlsson. Among the three Estonian skiers, Keidy Kaasiku achieved the highest placement, finishing 45th with a time loss of 1:58.5.

Teesi Tuul completed the race in 61st place, with a time loss of 3:14.2. Christopher Kalev, Martin Himma, Alvar Johannes Alev, and Henri Roos represented Estonia in the men’s competition, which began at 13:15. The Lahti World Cup stage was the first of three scheduled events this week.
