Police in the Northern Territory of Australia have issued warnings regarding snakes and crocodiles following extensive flooding across the territory. More than one thousand people have been evacuated to shelters after severe rainfall over the weekend caused widespread inundation. The flooding, the worst since 1998, impacted the city of Katherine. A crocodile was sighted in the Adelaide River last Sunday.
