Australian Territory police have issued warnings regarding the dangers of snakes and crocodiles following extensive flooding across the northern territory. More than one thousand people have been evacuated to shelters due to the widespread flooding, which is the worst since 1998 in the city of Katherine. A crocodile was recently sighted in the Adelaide River, according to a photo taken by Stefica Nicol Bikes and Reuters/Scanpix. Heavy rains throughout the weekend contributed to the flooding event.
