Eesti iluuisutamine continues to demonstrate the potential for Estonian athletes to reach the world’s highest levels, according to iluuisutreener Anna Levandi. During the junior World Championships held in Tallinn, expectations rose for several Estonian competitors, including Elina Goidina and Maria Eliise Kaljuvere. Both athletes steadily progressed through the competition stages. However, both experienced difficulties in the short program, with the pressure of a home competition evident. This outcome raises questions regarding the suitability of hosting major international events within Estonia for young athletes.
