At 6:33 p.m. on Saturday, emergency services responded to a report of a vehicle leaving the roadway in Auvere village, Ida-Viru County. A BMW passenger car had rolled into a ditch, subsequently climbed onto its roof and entered a body of water. Two people escaped the vehicle, but two others were unable to do so and died as a result of the incident. The accident occurred on the territory of a waste disposal facility adjacent to the outflow channel of the Narva power plant.
