Teachers who moved from Ida-Virumaa are successfully establishing themselves in Estonian-speaking regions. The Pärnu Postimees recently visited Narva and Sillamäe to document the experiences of educators who have relocated from their original home region. One example is Anu Alloja, a Natural Science teacher at the Narva Language School’s 2nd grade. Alloja came to work at the school three years ago from Pärnu. The initiative highlights the adaptation of teachers who moved to these predominantly Russian-speaking cities and assesses the progress of Estonian language education within the region.
