The Sindi music school secured a permanent solution to its space constraints with the opening of a new building on March 7, 2026. The facility, located in the former service house of Sindi, provides dedicated rooms for students and teachers. The opening was marked by musical performances.

Merike Teppan-Kolk, director of the Sindi music school, stated that previous teaching operations primarily occurred at the Sindi Gymnasium. Due to a lack of dedicated space within the gymnasium for both teaching and living, some instructors utilized the Sindi clubhouse and the former service house. “It has actually been a very long wait: we have been in a room shortage for most of our 37 years of operation,” Teppan-Kolk noted.

The new building addresses a longstanding concern for the music school, which has operated for nearly four decades. Keywords: sindi, music, long
