On Thursday morning, employees of the Viljandi Animal Shelter discovered a large dog tied to a post approximately 400 meters from the facility. The animal was secured to a post around 9:00-10:00 a.m. on March 13. A sign was present directing traffic toward the shelter. The dog has a microchip, however, the chip is not registered in any available database. The incident involved an animal near the shelter.
