In the 150 yards breaststroke event, Eefimov placed third, losing almost a second to the leader, but ultimately won the race with a final time of 2:10.05, overtaking Mary Mackey by 1.02 seconds. Eefimov also contributed to NC State’s women’s team winning first place in the combined 4×50 yards relay, resulting in a final score of 204:94.
