Police in the Pähkla Prefecture detained a 37-year-old man in July after discovering a quantity of carfentanil, a lethal narcotic drug, sufficient to induce narcotic intoxication in 40,000 people. The discovery was made at the request of the prosecutor’s office and with court approval. A photo of police officers is included. The man is currently in custody as part of a preliminary investigation.
