A 25-year-old man died following an accident at the Estonian Celli factory on Tuesday, February 17. The incident occurred while a worker was conducting maintenance work on a lifting crane. According to the Labor Inspectorate, the man was operating the crane when it was inadvertently activated, causing the crane’s drum and belt to become entangled around him. The employer of the deceased has not been publicly identified.
