The number of coronavirus infections in several Estonian counties, including Pärnu, did not increase on June 28th, 2021, according to reports. Fifteen new positive coronavirus tests were recorded across Estonia in the past night. Pärnu County was one of the counties reporting no new infections.

New cases were identified in Harju County (12) and Ida-Virumaa (3). Over the past week, three days have seen no coronavirus detections in Pärnu County. Currently, there are no coronavirus patients admitted to the Pärnu hospital.

The last patient was discharged on Saturday, and hospital officials report no new cases. A total of 34 individuals are hospitalized with coronavirus, with five requiring intensive care and four utilizing ventilators. No new deaths related to the coronavirus were recorded on June 28th, bringing the total number of deaths in Estonia to 1269.

As of June 28th, 41.42% of adult residents in Pärnu County have completed their coronavirus vaccination course, while 49.55% have received at least one dose. The data reflects ongoing efforts to manage coronavirus infections across Estonia’s counties.
